about

"Musick of Uncertain Origin, Vol II" consists mostly of my classical compositions. The omni-present atmospheric textures are oppressive but compliment these works. The Musick of Uncertain Origin series are compositions that explore some of my more experimental territories that speak less to concept albums but more to a collective consciousness of impending doom and despair. Highlights of the album are "Night Terrors: II. They Have No Eyes (The Black Waltz)" and "The Memory of Warmth." "Night Terrors II" is somewhat of a homage to Franz Liszt. It is my most complicated composition and evokes imagery of a blasphemous debauched revelry. "The Memory of Warmth" is one of my most Lynchian (David Lynch) tracks. It compliments my discography by introducing unique musical themes that are very cinematic. Many of these tracks could also be described as film music. These compositions suggest images and emotions with their deep melancholy and tension.
